I'm leaving Mint after 3 years for those reasons:Īfter 3 years I am leaving Mint due for those reasons: It seems to be the cheapest service, but it's not. WHAT A JOKE! I will not reach out to them again and have reported them to the BBB They won't even call me but expect me to call them or chat with them even though I did those for over 3 hours yesterday and they didn't solve anything. They also have almost NO ONE who has English as their first language, you can barely understand the representative, very long holding times to speak to a service rep, and you absolutely cannot write a complaint because they have no email to send it to!! I don't recommend Mint. WHY?IT will just get screwed up as well! They have some sort of scam going.they offer you money that they will NEVER use towards a payment. She then gave me $10 (in my wallet) to use towards the next payment in 3 months. WHY? Mint made the mistake, not me! Why have money in my account if I can't use it towards a payment? She again told me my account would be supspended for non payment if they cancel the already made payment. Same song and dance."sorry too late, money has been taken out, can't change anything." I am getting more and more frustrated. She kept hemming and hawing around making excuses, but FINALLY sent me to a supervisor. She told me if she did that that my service could be suspended for non payment. 2 minutes later, she says "Oh no! THe systems took out $50 and did not apply the $15 credit." REALLY? She said she could't reverse anything. I asked her to please apply the $15 in my wallet then tell me how much would be charged to the credit card. I called and asked the rep to please take care of this since I could not do it from the app. I wanted to use it towards my 3 month payment of $45. ![]() The price is good but there are many problems and when they say they will resolve things they really don't. Update: After babysitting the chat window for 2 hours waiting for response, wondering if I was disconnected, typing 'hello' in the meantime, Agent initiated the chat and provided the account number and PIN at 11:46AM. I searched Mint Mobile complaints, and here I am. Just like yesterday, and the day before and so on. Have a good day!' It is now 10:48 and i am just waiting. Today, I started the chat again at 9:15 Agent: 'To better assist you, let me go ahead and transfer you to the correct department. On 4 different occasions in past day, I have been on hold for two hours before call or chat gets disconnected or NO response. I needed account number and transfer pin so I can switch to different carrier with the same phone number. When you want to close the account, no answer. When opening an account they respond in one second. ![]()
